In the past year, I’ve received more requests from readers for Casper alternatives. These four mattress companies are my favorite, and they are all helping to invent and transform the mattress industry.
Leesa
Leesa was launched at the end 2014 and quickly gained a large following. More sleepers are discovering the beauty of the Leesas design every day.Leesa is a 25 cm long all foam mattress made from different types of foams.
The Leesa’s top layer isAvena foam 5 cm. Avena foam can be used as a substitute for latex foam. It offers the same sensations of latex foam, such as bounce, comfort, cooling, and bounce. It is more durable and lasts longer than latex. This layer is placed on top of a5 cm layer of memory foam that supports and relieves pressure. Both of these layers are supported by a base of 15 cm high density support foam.
Leesa uses 10cm of comfort foam (5cm of Avena + 5cm of memory foam). Leesa was one of the first online mattress sellers I tested to use 10 cm+ comfort foam. TheAlthough it may sound small, the comfort foam difference of 8 to 10 cm is quite significant.. Additional foam enhances body contouring, deep compression support, and balance.
Avena foam is used instead of latex foam to increase the durability and longevity of the mattress. Leesas covers provide great cooling and are very resistant to damage.

The comfort layer of 17 cm is the most thick I have ever seen in a Loom & Leaf. The Helix mattress is made from four layers of latex, microcoils and poly foam. My personal Helix mattress includes5 cm responsive poly foam and 6 cm microcoils. 5 cm poly foam and 10 cm support foam.. Each Helix mattress is custom-made to the individual’s specifications. This means that each Helix will have a different layer thickness, order of layers and foam density. You may find that some Helix mattresses have more or less of a particular material to achieve the best feel and support.
Your personal setup will determine how the Helix feels, but it generally has more bounce and quick response. It also sleeps cooler due to the microcoils and latex. Although the contour and hug are not as dramatic as memory foam, it is still comfortable.It contours to your body more evenly and is more generalized.. This helps to prevent any kind of stuck feeling but allows for great pressure relief and support.
