How did you get started in the mattress industry? Who made WinkBeds what it is today?
While feeling stuck in a job I didn’t love, I did a lot more thinking about what I was good and what I enjoyed doing. The two things I kept coming back too were that I love to surround smart, interesting people and that my best work is done when I am in a leadership position with the entire project on my shoulders. So I decided to take a look at the startup industry.
As I researched what the world could need, I discovered a lot about the mattress industry. There was a lot of unfairness in the pricing and the services that retailers offered their customers.
From that moment on, I was determined to start my own mattress business. Our mission from the beginning was to partner with the top people in the industry and create the most comfortable and long-lasting sleep products. We also wanted to sell them at an affordable price with excellent guarantees and warranties. WinkBeds was created.

What’s WinkBeds Goal Regarding A Restful Night?
We want people to feel so content with their sleep quality, their pain relief, and their general mood that they’re the envy of all their friends.
What’s Unique About WinkBedsbrings The Industry?
Our mattresses are made fresh every day in one facility that uses the most recent bedding technologies and materials. Many of those who make, sew, tailor, and layer our mattresses are old-fashioned workers. We use only the best quality materials, but the quality and character behind our products is what makes us unique.
Which Innovations Are You Most Excited About For The Industry Over The Next 2 Years?
Although I cannot predict the future, I believe that the industry will continue to innovate and provide great value for customers. The industry is moving in a customer-centric direction with newer technology and companies that offer better customer experiences, stronger warranties, and longer trial periods.
What Can We Expect From WinkBeds In The Near Future?
Our production facility is constantly innovating.
What Are Some Common Myths About Purchasing A Mattress?
Many people believe that a mattress should be replaced after a couple of years. A good mattress that costs less than €80 can last for a long time if you invest in quality.
What other tips can you give for getting a good night’s sleep than using your product?
All kinds of strange things are my thing. I find that a hot or cold bath before going to bed helps me sleep better.
Reading is great for relaxation (I’ve read Game of Thrones). It helps to put away the phone. A simple trick that can make a huge difference for many people is to lower the brightness of the TV.
